Family Constellation Therapy -

 

WHAT IS IT?

Family Constellation Therapy (FCT), or also known as Systemic Constellation Therapy, is a therapeutic approach design to help reveal hidden dynamics in a family system or relationships.

Truthfully, when you boil down a lot of our human dis-ease, “blocks”, unhealthy habits, shadows, and systemic issues - most (if not all) can be explained through FCT. Many of us walk through life not knowing why we feel so depressed, anxious, sad or struggle with certain physical or emotional ailments. We believe that we must have inherited them and they must have to be ours to carry through life. “Well, I guess this is what I was given!” Well, yes and no.

You were given it, but it was most likely unintentional and if your ancestors knew what and how their choices or the things that happened to them would ripple down into multiple generations through energy + DNA, I promise you they would’ve probably done FCT to stop it! That means that you don’t have to walk around carrying the burdens of your ancestors. Even through things they didn’t choose like war trauma, abuse, and more.

FCT is a gift that helps us break the chains of the past, unkink the hose of your family lineage (as my mentor Karie says), and start connecting you to your ultimate desires and your highest self, mind body and spirit.

HOW AM I GOING TO FEEL AFTER MY SESSION?

In my own personal experience, it is possible to feel any and all emotions. There is no set expectation for how you should expect to feel because each and every session is different from the other. Family Constellation Therapy is a very transformative and powerful modality which can result in needing extra time + space to process the information that arises from our session. I recommend that clients take 2-3 weeks to allow the changes to integrate before booking another session. It can be deeply supportive to have outside help after our session as well like traditional psychotherapy, somatic therapy, or another kind of professional service to help process + integrate the healing.

Please remember that as we make big energetic + emotional shifts FCT, supporting your body during this time will help your nervous system feel regulated and safe to take what you learned and integrate the information. Drinking plenty of water after the session, going on a nice easy walk in nature, or sitting outside in the sun or fresh air can be a really nourishing way to do that!

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR THIS?

You’ll need a few pieces of paper, a pen, Zoom, and an open room or space where you will uninterrupted by any disturbances. And, come with purpose. When you book a session, be ready with an open mind and open heart. This process can be a beautiful release if you let it!
